Burden of Debt

Here is the third question in this series. I belong to a Yahoo Group that is centered on studying Mary Magdalene and recently I offered the opportunity for them to ask questions of Mary Magdalene or Yeoshua that they wanted answered. Mary wanted me to gift them with this to say thanks for honoring her in their own ways.

Question: When will the burden of debt lift from my shoulders so I can get to the business of my true calling, which I believe is helping others?

Mary Magdalene: There are many on earth right now feeling as you do that you have great burdens of debt upon you. It seems as if you can’t get out from underneath this giant rock. I understand. I would like to open your mind up to a new perspective. It may be difficult at first but here it is. This burden of debt is actually a beautiful gift given to you and created by you. You gave this gift to yourself so you could learn something.

I implore you to look at this situation as if you are above it or outside of it. Take a third person’s point of view. OK—now if you saw yourself in this situation from afar, what would you think of the situation? Would you see how it all came to be? What choices were made that brought this situation about? What limiting beliefs or feelings of not deserving the great things in life created this situation and continue to keep it in place? What would you tell this woman if you met her on the street and she asked you for advice on her situation?

Accept this situation as a gift. Ask spirit what lessons you are to learn. Ask what limiting beliefs brought this about and then let those beliefs go. There are several ways to do this. Write down every limiting belief you have about finances. Write each one on a separate slip of paper. Think hard and give yourself plenty of time to do this activity. It’s worth it if you want to get out from underneath that rock. Here’s an example:

  • I don’t deserve to get paid well for my work.
  • I don’t deserve to pay all my bills on time and still have money in the bank.
  • I don’t deserve to take a nice vacation every year.

Do you get the picture? Write these all down and even take a couple of days to do it because more ideas will come as you fall asleep or are in the shower. Now, take each one in your hand and stand either in front of the fire or a shredder (please make sure you handle the fire safely if you choose this method), say to yourself, “This is no longer who I am. I choose again.”

Shred the old belief or burn it in the fireplace. Once you have completely destroyed all of the old beliefs, you are ready for the next step. Feel how good it feels to let go of the limits you placed upon yourself from the past. Maybe some of those old beliefs weren’t even yours. Maybe they were from your parents who grew up in the Depression or things your brother or sister said to you. You can let go of them and create something new for yourself now.

Good—so within a few days of the destruction of old beliefs, sit with a fresh piece of paper in front of you and write new beliefs for yourself. Use paper you love and your favorite pen. Burn a candle and play music as you dream your new reality into being. This should be fun and wonderful and new.

Examples of new beliefs might include:

  • All of my needs are met abundantly for me now and always.
  • I gratefully accept abundance into my life from this day forwards.
  • The universe is conspiring to fill my life with abundance.
  • I accept and give thanks that every month my bills get paid, my debt decreases, and I still have money in the bank.

I think you get the idea. Write only ones that you feel comfortable with. If they feel too good to be true and you can’t say them out loud after you write them down. Try again and word it in a way that feels more comfortable. As time goes by, you may outgrow even these beliefs and will want to write new ones. That is a good sign that you are on the right path.

Once you have your list of new beliefs about abundance and wealth, tape this to your wall where you can see it every day. Or put it next to your bed so you can read it every morning or every evening. This is an excellent practice and things will shift for you within 7 days. Yes, I said 7 days. You see the underlying principle of all of this is that money is only an expression of energy. As you shift your energy about money, the money around you shifts. Things move in your favor as you send out more positive vibes about money and your relationship with it. This is your life. Start creating it now.

Spirituality and Children

Mary wanted me to gift them with this to say thanks for honoring her in their own ways. So here is the first question I received.

Question: I was brought up Catholic and now feel as if I am more Spiritual than anything else. I have 2 boys that I want to raise with a great sense of Spirituality, but feel as if I need to give them some religion as a foundation. I struggle as the closest thing to the way you and Jesus taught is Catholicism. When will there be more churches, or places to gather much like a Christian faith does today, where your messages that have been hidden are open for families like mine? I want so much to attend a church that has beautiful traditions and rites of passage like Catholicism, but the message is open and encompassing.

Mary Magdalene: It is so important right now to fill our children’s minds with the potentialities of building the kingdom of heaven within. We are all divine and we are all on our path to reveal this divinity and bring it into the light. This is why we are here. Remember this as you instruct and care for your children. They know this from birth onward but then we teach them other things and they forget. Remind them of their own divinity. Teach them that we are all connected. It is as if we are each a drop of water in a giant sea. We are individuals but still part of the whole. And that whole is called God. We are not separate. WE never were. WE only perceived ourselves to be separate. Separateness leads to fear and anger and hatred and war. We do not want this for our children.

So it is simple, I say. Teach them that we are one. What we give to our neighbor, we also give to ourselves. So choose your gifts with care. The principles of love and peace and oneness are quite simple. There is no need for a physical church or religion to share these principles with your children. They know these things—you are just simply helping them to re-member.

My suggestion is to find books, stories, and movies that embrace these ideals. We learn much from stories. Then discuss them with your children. Take them to see art that inspires them. Help them to create art in whatever form they like—clay, drawing, painting, music, Legos, etc. Help them to feel their interconnectedness with everything and everyone around them. This will help them on their journey forward.

There is much to be said for a like-minded community as well. I understand this more than anyone. The coming together of people in sacred space is an amazing feeling. But you must be attracted to the energy of the community so here is what I suggest. Try several different churches or community groups and check in with your body and see how it feels. Is your body open and relaxed or tight with tension? Women most often feel first with their bodies. Then check in with your intuition and see what it says about returning to that community. Pray for the right community to come into your path and give thanks for it in advance. Know that this will be the right place for you and your children and you will find much compassion, camaraderie, and inspiration there.

When we tune into our own intuition, we create the kingdom of heaven within and this kingdom is not a lonely place but is in fact filled with beautiful loving people who are in the same energy vibration as you. Know this and give thanks that this is coming to you quickly and easily and it will. God bless you on your journey. God bless your children. They are lucky to have a mother who cares so much about their spirituality. Namaste.

Male and Female Aspects

I asked Mary Magdalene the following question: What would you like to share with us about the male and female aspects of our world and us?

Mary Magdalene: This is one of my favorite topics, as you should well know. My role in history has been hidden but I was very much a part of Yeoshua’s teaching process, as you might call it. I would teach to the women and he would teach to the men in the village. This made for wonderful conversations when the men and women came back together. We loved this. Men began to appreciate that women have as much intellect as they did about philosophical things. It was a beautiful thing we created in our time on earth. It was a beautiful thing we created together.

Yes, I said that we created together. You see, I was half of his ministry. We worked as a team. I know this part of history has not been heard before but I assure you I was there. At another time, I will discuss why my role was hidden from society and history for so long. But for now, I would like to discuss these concepts of male and female.

You see we all have these aspects inside of each one of us. Some of you know this. Some do not. That is OK. This concept goes way back. You can see this duality in everything. There is light and dark, yin and yang, good and evil.  Yes, duality reigns in our world. And so it does inside of us.

When we partner with someone, these elements of male and female inside of us balances when we are with the right person. This is why it feels so right. What we were missing before in terms of male or female energy is now perfectly complimented by this other person. That is what makes the union so perfect and loving and wonderful. It is like we have found our other half. This is what Yeoshua and I have. (Yes, I say have because we are still together on this side.)

It is the magical balancing of the male and female that gives us the greatest power and possibility for change in the world. It is only in perfect partnership that we can achieve more and be more than we could by ourselves. This is not to say that all partnerships are perfect. Anyone who has been in relationship knows this to be true. But we can strive for perfection and balance and enjoy the journey that is relationship.

There is much joy to be found in this exploration. Please ponder these thoughts and see how you can bring more balance in your male and female aspects not only in your relationships but also within yourself. God bless, Mary.
