I set intentions last year and had an amazing year. So I decided to ask Yeoshua and Mary Magdalene what to do this year. Specifically, I asked what do you recommend we do at the beginning of this new year? Set intentions? Goals? Resolutions? Visualizations?

Open your eyes and your heart...
Yeoshua: Yes, this is a time of reflection for all of us. If you imagine the psyche or unconscious as a large pool of water, it is now time to dive deep to discover our hidden potential and our limitless potential. Dive deep and look with eyes wide open to see what you may become at your very core of being. It is an amazing sight but not everyone is ready to see it or have it revealed to them. It is your time to do this, Melinda. It will be very good for you. Go deeply into meditation and journey many times over the next week to see how to proceed this year.
After you have done your meditations, journeys, and visualizations, you will be ready to put it all into words. I would suggest you use the intention structure. Write down your intentions for this year. Goals and resolutions are now powerful enough. You need to put into words what your intentions are. The power of intention sets the magic into motion. Once you have these intentions the way you want, I would like to ask you to visualize one of them each day for a month. Give time in your meditation to one of each of these intentions and visualize it happening in your life. This will magnify the power of the intention by one hundred times. It is quite powerful. And you may find that when it is time for a certain intention to be visualized, that it may not be a true intention anymore. You may find that your list of intentions gets smaller. That is fine. This will help you focus.
By the end of January, you will have a refined and powerful list of intentions. I would suggest then that you work on visualizing these on a weekly basis the rest of the year. It will put what you want to have happen into reality. This is powerful mindfulness and it is my greatest hope that many of you follow this path in this year of cooperation.
Mary Magdalene: My power is behind what Yeoshua says here. I only add that you may want to consider cooperation as one of your intentions in some way or another. It will keep you connected to others and to spirit. Also, having an intention to ease mother earth’s transition will help all of us and I’d like to see an intention about this on everyone’s list but you also need to make it your own. God bless.

I asked Yeoshua and Mary Magdalene: What would you like us to know about 2009?

What do we need to know about 2009?
Yeoshua: 2009 is a pivotal year for humankind. It is a year of coming together and those who do not come together will find themselves very alone. It is a time of transition, yes. This is important also. The mother earth is shifting in her skin and her magnetic poles are shifting. We will feel the effects of these earth changes. Some will be gently –others might be more magnificent in scale but it all part of the transition to a better place for all of us. This is a time to dig deep in our spiritual connection and look for our purpose and our skills and talents that we can bring into this new space of being—this space of cooperation. What skills or talents do you have that will make cooperation work? Do you help people work with others? Are you a good interpreter at meetings to help people communicate? Do you teach communication?
Yes, 2009 is a very special cosmic year as well. Ask any astronomer or astrologist and they will tell you. Earth is ruled by the Sun and the galaxy and affected by other planets so this information becomes important. Seek out this information.
If I had to put it into a few simple words, 2009 is about cooperation, communication, transition, and a return to joy.
Mary Magdalene: 2009 has a special place in my heart. It will signify my return and a renewed interest in my life and my place on this planet. My life will be revealed for how it truly happened and there is great empowerment for people in hearing the story, especially women. I am very happy about this upcoming revelation. It will be a great year. I second Yeoshua’s ideas so I do not need to expand on them.

For this holiday season, my question is “What is the best gift we can give our loved ones?”

The Golden Present
MARY: The best gift you can give each of your loved ones this year is a prayer for love, peace, and protection. Do a visualization and picture each one of your loved ones in a golden bubble filled with light, love, peace, and know that the bubble represents their safety and protection from the waves of life that may come at them in the coming year. Picture them smiling and happy as they move through the following year and at the end of 2009, they look back and are happy with their progress as a human being. This is the best present you can give to each of your loves ones this year. Send them a note that you have done this for them and visualized greatness for them in the coming year. This will do much for them and the people they touch throughout the year.

Bubble of Love, Peace, and Protection
YEOSHUA: I like Mary’s idea very much. Visualization for another person is a powerful gift and one I like to give often. I would also like to add that you just take each day and each moment and react with love. With every situation and word, act out of love. Love is the best gift of all. Share love with everyone you meet whether it be a handshake, a hug, or a smile. Share love with every neighbor, stranger, and loved one around and it will ripple out. That is why there is so much love around this time of year. It is not just to do with Santa Claus. This time of year brings out gratitude and love as we prepare gifts for our loved ones and watch our children believe in the magic of Santa. These are all good things. It is good to believe in magic. It gives us all imagination and wonder with which to look at the world.
