Male and Female Aspects

I asked Mary Magdalene the following question: What would you like to share with us about the male and female aspects of our world and us?

Find your balance...

Find your balance...

Mary Magdalene: This is one of my favorite topics, as you should well know. My role in history has been hidden but I was very much a part of Yeoshua’s teaching process, as you might call it. I would teach to the women and he would teach to the men in the village. This made for wonderful conversations when the men and women came back together. We loved this. Men began to appreciate that women have as much intellect as they did about philosophical things. It was a beautiful thing we created in our time on earth. It was a beautiful thing we created together.

Yes, I said that we created together. You see, I was half of his ministry. We worked as a team. I know this part of history has not been heard before but I assure you I was there. At another time, I will discuss why my role was hidden from society and history for so long. But for now, I would like to discuss these concepts of male and female.

You see we all have these aspects inside of each one of us. Some of you know this. Some do not. That is OK. This concept goes way back. You can see this duality in everything. There is light and dark, yin and yang, good and evil.  Yes, duality reigns in our world. And so it does inside of us.

When we partner with someone, these elements of male and female inside of us balances when we are with the right person. This is why it feels so right. What we were missing before in terms of male or female energy is now perfectly complimented by this other person. That is what makes the union so perfect and loving and wonderful. It is like we have found our other half. This is what Yeoshua and I have. (Yes, I say have because we are still together on this side.)

It is the magical balancing of the male and female that gives us the greatest power and possibility for change in the world. It is only in perfect partnership that we can achieve more and be more than we could by ourselves. This is not to say that all partnerships are perfect. Anyone who has been in relationship knows this to be true. But we can strive for perfection and balance and enjoy the journey that is relationship.

There is much joy to be found in this exploration. Please ponder these thoughts and see how you can bring more balance in your male and female aspects not only in your relationships but also within yourself. God bless, Mary.

Gifts from Past Lives

I was meditating this morning and I was given a fabulous gift from spirit. A bald eagle came to me and took me on a Shamanic Journey (kind of like an imaginary trip and spirit shows you things). The eagle was taking me through several of my past lives and wanted to gift me with the learnings from those past lives. I thought I would share these learnings here as I found them profound and fascinating although you have certainly heard these things before. It was more real to me as I associated them with a lifetime so it was very relevant.

Lessons Learned From Past Lives- Lifetime #1

1) Do not be too boastful or proud. Be humble about your gifts and contributions to a society.

2) Do not lie. Stay honest.

Be humble and honest--these are gifts to be cherished and respected.

I was a healer/shaman for a small Native American community among the tall pine trees in the mountains. I had the gifts and the teachings from my mother and grandmother. I was an excellent healer and herbalist. I was quite powerful and grew to be a very important member of this community. But as time passed, I got too proud and haughty about my position. I assumed too much power. So, as a result, my power was taken away. I was not allowed to heal or do what I had been taught to do. I shriveled up into an invisible member of this society and served as a reminder to others that too much pride is not a good thing. As a part of the unraveling of my position, I also lied about a few things to make myself look bigger and better than I was. This was a mistake and led to my downfall in this lifetime. Honesty is always the best policy especially when speaking of your gifts.

Lifetime #2

3) Be creative and inventive. Create amazing things out of seemingly nothing.

4) Do not judge others but be accepting and grateful for their presence in your life.

5) Be thankful and grateful. Find something, anything, to be grateful for in every moment.

Recognize and appreciate the gifts that are all around you...

Recognize and appreciate the gifts that are all around you...

I was shown another lifetime where I had been shipwrecked on an island with natives. It was very reminiscent of Robinson Crusoe. I was on a tropical island with natives. They didn’t know me and I didn’t know how to communicate with them. I judged them at first to be unintelligent and unlearned. I was very angry at being left on this island alone. My shipmates had died in a terrible storm that caused us to shipwreck. I saved what I could from the wreckage but no one survived but me. I spent whole days being angry at first. Then I looked up and saw the same beautiful sky I had seen in England. I saw beautiful clouds and the sun shining through the trees warming my body. I was thankful for that. It was the first time I had been thankful since arriving on the island. I vowed to find something to be thankful for every day as it made me feel human again.

I also realized that a shower or a bath would make me feel human so would a nice bed and a house. I decided right then to create something out of nothing. I created a house in the trees, a way to capture and save water, a shower, a pulley system for hauling things up, and developed a routine and environment that I could live in for many years. One of the natives watched me and as he was an outcast of his own people, he decided to help me. Again, I was grateful. I learned over time that this man was very smart and knew things and could teach me helpful things about this plant and this tree. He knew a great many things. Over time, we developed a deep friendship and learned language from each other so we could communicate. I created something amazing out of nothing and I think the starting point was gratitude.

Lifetime #3

6) Do not live by the limiting rules of others. Create your own rules for how your life will work and live a life unknown to others even in their imaginations.

7) Live for love–whatever form it takes.

8 ) Focus on what you want. You will attract whatever you train your energy upon–good or bad.

Even if you are a prisoner in a castle, you can live a rich and full life in your imagination.

Even if you are a prisoner in a castle, you can live a rich and full life in your imagination.

In this lifetime, I was a princess or young maiden of an important man in the countryside of England. I had no power and lived under very strict rules of obedience and propriety. I began to slip behind the back of my father to study the occult and herbs and magic. I went to see a man learned in these ways and study with him while my father was away. My ladies in waiting would cover for me while I was away. I created my own rules to create my own life even while I was under such scrutiny and duty. I lived a life unknown to others that was rich and full even when to others my life seemed so small and dreary.

I lived for the love of my ladies in waiting as I was already promised in marriage to someone I did not love. I also had a brother who I loved very much. I lived to communicate with them and love them. When I was given a child by this husband, I lived for the love of that child. During that lifetime, while feeling most constrained, I focused on what I wanted and looked for the good in every situation. This was the only way I could survive and it worked.

It does not matter to me if these were truly my past lives or not. The lessons remain relevant and important to my life today. That is the secret of the shamanic journey. It’s all about your imagination and using it to learn. It is important to remain unattached to whether it was real or not. How will you ever know? But the learnings gained from that lifetime may have profound effects on your life today. Meditate and ask your guides to take you on a journey and see what gifts may be found along the way. You may be surprised.
