Occupy Wall Street – What Does It Mean?

You want to know what the Occupy Wall Street movement means and where it is going? Yes, let me address this.

What does it mean?

What does it mean?

YEOSHUA: This movement is one of many that are here and are still to come as we move towards our greater transition. You can feel how things are changing and shifting. The world of people is moving. Rather the people of the world are changing and shifting to match the energies of our world which are also shifting and changing. The earth is going through her own transition and we are along for the ride. The earth changes have a profound effect on the inhabitants of this earth. To think differently would be naïve. We are striving to be more in line with her–Mother Earth. We are striving to match her integrity. Those of us who can feel her know this. She has moved towards balance and we are taken along with her as we strive for balance in our own lives, in our finances, in our compassion for others, in our economy, in our education, in our politics, in our worldviews and in our religious practices. We are all striving for balance. This effort causes things to move and to shift and this is good. It means that instead of being stuck in our awkward state of imbalance, we are moving towards equilibrium. This is good. It is all good.

Mother Earth--moving into balance...

Mother Earth--moving into balance...

There will be more protests to come as people, regular people, want and in fact, crave this balance to be restored. They will work hard to make this happen in every area of their lives. People who have never demonstrated before will come out to demonstrate now. It suddenly becomes very important that they do so. The balance becomes an ever-increasing need for people to fulfill in whatever area of life they are most concerned with. There will be a need to return to honesty and integrity as a part of this balance. People want to return to trust. People want to return to compassion for their fellow beings. People are turning away from greed and insincerity and lies. The time for those has past. That is very last century. We are into another whole era or time period where those old ideals will no longer get you ahead. They will cause you to fail. Drop the old tenets of greed and lies and lack of compassion. These will no longer feed success. The time to return to love is here now and those in tune can feel it. The mother earth wishes all of her inhabitants to return to love. It is time. Let’s move that way now. Ask yourself if your actions, words, or thoughts are loving? This will help guide you on your course back to love, back to balance. Namaste.

It's all about balance...

It's all about balance...

MARY MAGDALENE: Yes, the Mother Earth is leading the way with her energy and her restoration of balance. An earthquake to you may seem like the world is turning upside down but it is simply the planet restoring balance. Please look on other events you may call disasters as simply a sign of the world returning to balance. The financial corruption of Wall Street and the banks failing or nearing failure–it is all the system trying to regain balance. But in this case, the system is innately imbalanced and when this happens, sometimes the only course of action is to start over. If the financial industry falters and falls apart, see this as a return to balance. I’m not saying this will happen but I am using this as an example.

All events can be viewed in two different ways one as the world falling apart and one as the world falling together– finally coming into balance of its own accord. We encourage you to view events like this or others like them as a coming to balance– a coming together. Have compassion for others. Hold space for events to move through this transition with grace, ease and joy and peace. Hold space for these activities that are highlighting the imbalance in the world. They are doing good work–work that needs to be done so we can move forward towards the perfect balance. Hold a vision of a world in balance and it will be. Namaste

Spiritual Principle #7- The Power of Community

Yeoshua is ready to share the seventh spiritual principle in the series. Here goes…

Let us begin. The seventh principle is all about creating community in the people around you. When you are connected or linked to each other, you automatically create community. You care about one another. You provide opportunities to one another to grow, to learn, to find a new job, to read a book, to share an experience. These are all ways we share in what is called community. It is different than how we used to live in community.

The power of community lies in your hands...

The power of community lies in your hands...

For example, a community would be a tribe for Native Americans and then tribes within their clan would be extended community and these tribes people lived outside of their immediate village but were still considered family or community. Native Americans are more likely to use the word family rather than community. We in Western culture understand the term community better so I will use this term here.

We can and each most probably have created communities around ourselves. This is happening more and more and it’s a good thing. People in communities are seeking a more traditional form of living where neighbors cared about neighbors and shared resources and traded with each other to get what they needed and wanted. This is returning. The spirit of community is returning and this is good for all of the world to recognize. True change does not come from the top down but can begin from the bottom up. It can begin in our own communities.

Try teamwork for a change...

Try teamwork for a change...

Think about the recycling programs begun by members of your own community. This changes your day-to-day living tremendously. You can now recycle your paper, plastics, and glass because one person or a small group of people thought it was important enough to inquire how they could get a recycling program in their neighborhood. Think about the power in that. There is much power in community to change the status quo if we would only realize it. There is untold power in the many over the power of the few. I’m not calling for a revolution here. I am calling for change starting with your own community.

Look around and see what is needed in your community. How can you help? Are you connected to other people, either physically in your community by walking down your street and waving or being a part of a neighborhood watch program or helping with a community event?

Or are you part of a virtual community online? These are most extraordinary things. And they count just as much as physical communities. Whenever people are involved in helping one another whether it’s online or not, it does not matter. It still counts as a community and the beauty of a virtual one is that your community can stretch over thousands of miles and there are no borders around your community. Your community becomes the world at large. This is one of the most powerful unsung virtues of the World Wide Web or Internet. We are all connected virtually just as we are energetically. We can find real people living in Ethiopia or Iran or Lithuania or China or Bali or wherever you can dream. You can connect with people there. You can bypass the use of airplanes or automobiles and touch people–really affect their lives from the space of your own desk. How magical is that? How powerful is that? Amazing, the web we weave.

We are each a part of the web...

We are each a part of the web...

I want you to contemplate the power of community over the next few weeks. What are some examples of how communities have changed the course of human history? How have communities made this world a better place? How can you make your community a better place? What you have done for your friends on Facebook or on Linked In? These are social networking sites that create a community. How can you spread love and light in these virtual meeting places?

How can you be someone who brings people together? Reflect on this power and see what you can contribute today. Namaste.
