The Art of Question and Answer

I had a response from a fellow blogger who wanted to know the following:
“The Second Coming really interested me particularly, with all the talk re: 2012 going on in the public sphere. But I find myself a little resistant to talk of a ‘new age’ because there are so many on the ‘Christian Right talking in these terms too, in a Left Behind/Revelations/Hellfire kind of way. Since I view the human realm as this place we can experience so many different kinds of things, both ‘good’ and ‘bad’,’pleasurable’ and ‘challenging’ I find I always feel some resistance to the idea that the world has to evolve to a certain new place, because it makes it sound like everyone has to toe a certain line, or be a certain way, or believe in a certain religion, or political philosophy, etc…At the same time I realize that we have hit the point where just to survive as a species we have to change in some fundamental ways…but religion has all too often been a stumbling block to that, instead of an aid…So I am wondering if you have spoken to Mary/Yeoshua re: this…”

The answer is to question...

The answer is to question...

Yeoshua: Yes, you have many questions in here. There is much doubt and questioning here and this is good. You should be questioning what you have been taught and what has been conversed about in regards to 2012. There is much to be sorted out. Yes, organized religions have their own well-developed concept of what will happen but the actual transformation has already begun. It is slow and organic and microscopic on some levels. There will be no giant transition to this ‘new age.’ This transition is slow and steady and involves a human awakening through baby steps. There will still be things that are ‘good’ and ‘bad’ and ‘pleasurable’ and ‘challenging’ through this entire transformation and beyond. It is more of a knowing and awakening to the process of being human.

We will understand better how our actions effect others. We will understand better the things we cannot see or measure currently. We will understand better the laws of cause and effect and karma. We will grow and expand our consciousness so that we feel more like ‘one’ rather than a planet full of individuals. We have already seen some growth in this regard.

The Internet is a giant piece of this global consciousness and we are so happy to support people like yourself who are engaging people in spiritual discussions and questioning what has been taught and assumed to be true for so long in ‘organized religions.’ We want you to question and doubt and come up with new ideas of your own. We want you to create your own understanding of this world. Use your own intuition and insight to create your own understanding. The time of having experts dictate to you what you should believe to be true is over.

It is now the time of intuition and journeying into the unknown to find your own meaning. Does this make sense? I hope so. You are well on your way. Namaste.

Mary Magdalene: I hope Yeoshua has answered your question. I believe he has but I will add this. Religion has been a stumbling block for humans to gain this global consciousness perspective that we are desperate for everyone to gain. The organized religions place themselves as the experts but this does not work anymore. Any experts will be taken down by a scandal or negative behaviors and all of their integrity and believability is lost. So the message they wished to share also gets lost and buried in a sea of controversy. This is the old way. The new way is finding your inner voice or intuition and then following it every day.

Follow it and question every belief you have to see what remains true for you right now in this moment. Maybe what I am saying to you does not ring true for you. That is OK. It is OK for you to be exposed to things that you totally don’t believe in because it will make you question what you do believe. Sometimes, the only way to understand what you do believe is through this process of saying, “No, I definitely don’t believe that or that or that.” That can work.

Most of all during this time, we want you to question and use your heart to find what feels right and true to you. This is our deepest desire for you and the others who are seeking answers during this time. Namaste, Mary.

Me, Mary Magdalene, and the Tea

This post is written by me, Melinda. It’s not channeled. I just wanted to share an experience I had with Mary Magdalene last week.

I had a really bad cold and cough. It’s the one that is just making the rounds right now. I was doing my meditation and Mary Magdalene, my spirit guide, started chiding me.

She asked me, “How come you listen to me about spiritual stuff and advice about your career and relationships but you never ask me for advice that concerns your body?”

“Wow,” I said to myself. “I’m not sure. I know you give great advice to others who ask for information about their health and you recommend all these great herbs that I’ve never heard of. I don’t know why. OK–I’ll start now. What can I do to help alleviate this cough?”

Healing with tea...

Healing with tea...

“Go the nearest health food store like Henry’s and buy Licorice Root Tea. Take it several times a day. It will help heal other things for you besides your cough.”

I said, “OK. I’ll do that.”

First things first, I know nothing about herbs. I mean nothing. So, the first thing I did was Google “licorice root tea” to see what medicinal purposes it had. I was amazed! Here is what is said at http://coffeetea.about.com/od/herbaltea/p/licorice.htm:

Health Benefits of Licorice:

  • Relieves coughs and sore throats
  • Improves digestion
  • Eases menstrual cramps
  • Believes to increase libido
  • Reduces seasonal allergies and congestion

I was impressed. I really shouldn’t be because I’ve done this before when Mary Magdalene has given other people herbs to ease their health conditions and been completely right on. But somehow, this was different because it was me. I felt a bit like a fool for even doubting that it would be perfect. Not only was Licorice Root Tea good for coughs and sore throats, but it also helped my digestion and congestion. It couldn’t have been a better fit for me.

I procrastinated on going to the store and waited a whole 24 hours so I ended up coughing a lot and was awake for several hours that night. Mary Magdalene chided me again to get the tea. So, next day, I show up at Henry’s looking for this tea. I’m not sure what I’m looking for. Is it a tincture or dropper thing of licorice root or pills that I put in a tea? I started asking to be guided at the store to what I needed. I found a dropper thing of licorice root and picked that up but was then guided down another aisle. Oh, look, the tea aisle. Sure enough, right there on the shelf is a box of Licorice Root Tea in tea packets ready to use. Wow! That is sooooo cool, I thought to myself. I didn’t know it actually came in packets.

To make a long story short, not only did the tea really help my cough disappear but it tasted really good too. My cough was gone within a day or two. I have to thank Mary Magdalene for this suggestion. She was right on. I’m thinking about asking her for suggestions on losing weight next but I have to make sure I’m ready to follow it up with action or she’ll get on me again. ;>)

In love and light,

Melinda

Trust Your Intuition

I was musing about trusting your intuition and seeking guidance on this so I asked Yeoshua and Mary Magdalene the following question: How do you learn to trust your intuition? How important is that? How far do you trust your intuition?

Walk with intuition...

Walk with intuition...

MARY MAGDALENE:
Intuition is a feminine attribute and needs to be tended to as if it were a little young seedling. It needs the light of the sun and the admiration of an observer. It needs to be nurtured and you need to know that the end result will always be the full development of the plant that was intended when the seed was born. A plant will always come from a seed. So intuition requires trust and faith that a miracle will occur. Intuition and faith are forever intertwined. It is only when you gather both to your chest that you will find fulfillment. Beginning to trust is as simple as trusting a plant will emerge from a seed. You have no doubt in this so why have doubt in your the unique development of your own intuition? This process of developing your intuition is unique to everyone. It depends on your ability to trust and have faith.

How important is intuition? It drives your boat through the river of life. If you don’t trust it to get you to your final destination, you may never get there or you’ll get sidetracked and stuck on the side of the river. It is critical that you get in touch with your intuition and with your heart center. They are one and the same. Yeoshua calls it the still, small voice you hear when you tune out everything else. This is another way to call it forward. Ask it to become louder. It will on its own as you tune into it more. The more you trust, the louder and easier it is to hear. Follow this as if your life depended on it. There is joy in this journey of following your intuition. Never forget that. In-joy! That’s what I call it. Ha!

YEOSHUA: Yes, it is that still small voice you hear when all else is quiet. That is why so many must meditate to begin hearing it and this is a good beginning practice but as you become better at listening, you can follow your intuition while driving a car, having a conversation, or deciding what to have for lunch in a restaurant. It is invisible guidance to your highest good. Who wouldn’t want that? Who wouldn’t want to have more flow in their lives? Who wouldn’t want to have more peace and love in their relationships? This can all be found by following your intuition. Listen and be still and begin your journey. It is a miracle to behold. In-joy indeed!
