The Turn and Run Routine

I’ve had some people not want to return my emails or don’t return phone calls and when I ask my intuition for why this is. I hear the answer that they are not ready to hear what I want to share with them or that my spiritual growth scares them a bit. I was confused about this so I asked Yeoshua (Jesus) the following question: Why does it seem like as we move forward on our spiritual paths, that some people turn and run the other way?

YEOSHUA: Ah, yes. This has happened to me many times in my life. Sometimes when you open the cloak and let people see who you really are and let them see how powerful and in tune you are, they run. It is because of this same mirror effect. They do not wish to see how powerful they are so they turn away. You are reflecting something to them that they are not ready to see about themselves so they turn away. It is almost as if you are too bright for them to see you clearly.

Everyone is a mirror of our own behavior...

Just as people can be mirrors for things you need to examine about your own behavior, you may also reflect good things to others. And sometimes the others don’t want to see the good in themselves. It is a dualistic phenomenon.

So, when this happens, send these people love. Keep them in your prayers and hope for their return to your side. This is all you can do. They are on their own journey and there is nothing you can do to help them except send them love. They need to return to you of their own volition. Keep the faith that you are steady on your path and continue to walk and hope that they will return to walk with you. This will happen many times on your path. It is the nature of being a teacher.

Ah, yes. And it is also the nature of being a student. If you are reluctant to be united with a new teacher or set of teachings, be aware that this may be happening to you. You may not be willing to see the good or divine in yourself when you look into the eyes of your teacher so you feel that you want to turn away. When this happens, begin to meditate on opening up your awareness of who you are. Open your connection to spirit and pray upon the intent that you wish to be the best of who you can be at this time. Pray to be opened up gently and in a wonderful fashion. Pray to see the light of who you are and who you can be. Let the door be opened up to who you can be. You don’t need to step through the door.

Just let the possibility exist that you can be more than who you are today. Just opening up to this possibility will allow you to look in your teacher’s eyes and begin a new journey. Be well and be at peace.

Relationships and Judgment

I was pondering our relationships and decided to ask Yeoshua (Jesus) about this. Here’s the question: Human relations seem so difficult sometimes. Why do we seem to have so much trouble with each other? How can we make this easier on ourselves? Do you have any suggestions for how to help us have peace in all of our relations?

Look at everyone you meet as a teacher...

Look at everyone you meet as a teacher...

YEOSHUA: We are each other’s teachers. Don’t you know this? If you are judging others, then you also need to look at them as a mirror for what you need to look at in your own behavior. This is one of the most important lessons on any spiritual journey. We can all use improvement. People are put in our lives to teach us things. Once they are done teaching us what we need to know and we get it, we do not attract that type of person into our lives again or if we do, it’s simply a reminder about where we’ve been and where we are choosing not to go this time around. It’s all cyclical. If you don’t get it this time, the situation or person will return.

My best advice is to love others and love your self equally. This is no easy task but try to find the divine spark within everyone and appreciate what each person can teach you. Every single living thing can teach you something if you open yourself up to hear what they are saying to you. Close your mind and open your heart to listen. Sometimes we think too much and feel too little. Keep this in mind or should I say, in your heart?
